The Challengair® Airmax® delivers warm, high-velocity air under pressure to make grooming faster and easier. Equipped with two powerful brush-type motors, it’s available in both 2-speed and variable-speed models. Use a single motor for gentle airflow and lower heat, or activate both for maximum power—perfect for blowing through thick undercoats and cutting drying time dramatically.

Efficient “Flow-Thru” Heating System

The Airmax® uses an innovative flow-thru motor design that naturally warms the air as it cools the motors. This system maximizes performance, improves energy efficiency, and maintains consistent heat without additional heating elements.

Quiet, Durable Construction

The noise-reducing clamshell housing is made from molded silicone with sound-isolating motor mounts, resulting in exceptionally quiet operation. This high-impact shell is virtually indestructible—resistant to rust, dents, and cracks—ensuring years of reliable service.

Premium Nozzle & Hose System

Each unit includes a push-on hose and Double K’s Airgonomic™ Nozzle System, featuring cool-to-the-touch nozzles and quick-swap tips. The signature Airgonomic™ “air sweep” nozzle is designed to sheet water off the coat for faster results. Hoses are crushproof and heat-resistant for long-term durability.
